Photographer’s Round Table

May 27 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Join us for a discussion on photography, business, marketing and strategy. Featuring Person A and Person B, the top two in the industry on the subject! This is one event you won’t want to miss. Learn how to build your business from the bottom to the top, and create a strong client following.

person aPerson A is an award winning, international photographer who teaches business and marketing classes all around the world. Featured in Photographer’s magazine, Shutterbug, and Top Ten Photos, Person A has taken over the expertise side of business and marketing strategies. Starting out as a mediocre photographer himself, Person A struggled with picking up clients and getting his foot in the door. After spending months trying to make money out of a bad marketing strategy and “spraying and praying” with his money on Facebook and Google ads, Person A decided it was time to focus his energy on what he needed to make money – not his artwork, but his business sense. After getting his degree in marketing and online communications, he sat at round tables with some of the foremost names in the online industries and learned insider techniques to getting the most ROI for your dollar online, and finding (and cornering) your client niche. He soaked in everything he learned and went back to his business with a fresh mind and new techniques, and found himself with more clientele than he could handle. After many years of photography, Person A realized that he had a passion for teaching others how to complete this work themselves, and used his own experience to focus on helping other photographers get out of their rut and back into loving their passion by creating a steady stream of income. Person A truly believes that you can’t love what you do if you are constantly stressed about where the next dollar is going to come from, and his goal in this round table is to help jump start you so you can begin to focus on what truly matters – your skills behind your business marketing.

person bPerson B knows what it is like to struggle as a wedding photographer, and feel like you have countless things on your to do list and not enough time to do them. She didn’t get to be the top wedding photographer on The Knot and Wedding Wire just by magically appearing out of thin air! Like the rest of us, Person B started out as an overworked, underpaid wedding photographer who struggled to calculate her CODB properly and manage her time. After years of working for little pay and spending time away from her family, Person B realized she was missing out on too much. She focused her off season on learning how to cultivate the most out of her photography techniques so that she could breeze through a client start to finish and manage her time better, and get more ROI on her worst enemy – her own self. Person B will show you techniques on consulting with a client, preparing for a wedding (or session), shooting, culling, client interaction after the wedding, editing workflow, gallery delivery and print ordering, all of which will help you make the most out of your own time. She’ll talk about ways to deal with client conversations and questions before the wedding so you can spend less time in email and on the phone, programs she uses to speed up editing, her personal techniques on shooting for quality instead of quantity, and how to streamline the editing and delivery process of images and prints. With Person B’s tips and techniques, you’ll be able to breeze through a client start to finish, spend less time behind the computer and more time with your family. Person B has spoken around the world about her process on stages across the photography board.

This round table will take place in Orlando, Florida, at the location listed below. Stay for cocktails and tapas afterwards, and network with fellow photographers!
